He can hope the president fails, and it's OK. He claims now that he later retracted the comment, after the 9/11 attacks.

Big deal. That's part of that "New Morality" of the Democrats. No king's X, there, Jimbo. Judging from the way in which you and your other "operatives" did everything you could to undermine Bush, 9/11 did not keep your moral compasses aligned for long.

Note that Carville does not address the liberal elitist blather that shows just how contemptuous he and his pal Greenberg are for what the voters think:
